Human Rights, HIV and Sex Work Policy

Each Monday I present a different workshop from the 2008 International AIDS Conference in Mexico.

This session brings together a broad cross section of speakers from around the world, including sex worker HIV activists, human rights experts, academics and feminists. They discuss the implications of recent sex work policy changes, examine where this fundamental shift has come from and why it is happening now.

As a little aside, yours truly asks a question at the 1 hour, 3 minutes mark. Oooooo...

There are 3 ways to access this workshop, courtesy of the Kaiser Network:
  1. View a video of the workshop to see PowerPoint slides synced with the audio and to enjoy watching each panelist strip as they speak.
  2. Download an mp3 of the workshop, put it on your iPod and get smart while you wash the dishes.
  3. Print a PDF of the workshop, hide it inside your favorite porn mag and get smart without hurting your reputation as the town tramp.
